Letter to Maggie Stokes, 1864 Jan. 9.

The collection consists of a letter from William A. Stokes dated Camp Wright near Savannah, Georgia, January 9, 1864, to his wife Margaret "Maggie" Rhind Stokes in Louisville, Georgia in which Stokes writes of troop activities and movements. Stokes probably served in the 63rd Georgia Infantry Regiment.
